Originally a standard Starbucks cafe, this location was converted to a Pick Up format to service this location. As a secondary cafe within the Duke University Hospital campus, and mainly serving hospital staff, a Pick Up store provided the convenience paired with technology best suited for this location. A warm, welcoming brand standard material palette was selected and creatively applied with purpose to create a reprieve for customers upon crossing the threshold.
